Records 2000. Since 1991, Nahbiy has provided his community of listeners with the purest form of Hip
Hop music, performing with the likes of KRS-One, The Notorious B.I.G., Wu Tang Clan, The Artifacts,
Outsiderz, Common, The Roots, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild and Bilal, just to name a few. He is recognized
mostly for the release of his solo project “Phillmatic”, where he teamed up with Dj Cutlas to produce an
exclusive 18 track mixtape inspired by the classic Nas album “Illmatic”. Nahbiy creates a unique
backdrop to tell his own story growing up in Philadelphia by resampling much of the music behind the
iconic Nas debut. His most recent release titled “Beats for Dummies” showcases his talent for
production and focuses on this aspect of his musical versatility, featuring 24 unreleased tracks from the
90’s.
